Daruma sashiko cloth - 50cm (8590)

This is a large-sized sashiko cloth of 50 cm square made of 100% cotton fabric printed with a grid pattern which disappears when washed. Use the grid lines as a guide and copy the design as it is or create your own. The fabric is soft and has good water absorbency. Even when piercing a small pattern with a thin thread or thick, like Gota, the fabric is finished to a thickness that is easy to handle without becoming too dense. Since it is a large size cloth, for practical purposes you can wrap a lunch box, or you can use the gridlines to cut the cloth into a smaller piece and stitch the two together to make a heavier weighted cloth.
