Hexagonal Small Box of Temari

Cohana has created small hexagonal wood box with a small temari ball on the lid. 

Temari is a traditional decorative ball made of woven thread. Temaricious, is a Maker company which created their own naturally dyed threads to make the Temari balls with a refined and modern finish. Temari are given as a special gift to mark an occasion or celebration. Temaricious in Tokyo, now shows people how to make the Temari balls. 

The small box uses high-quality wild cherry blossoms from the Tohoku region, and has a smooth wood texture and beautiful grain. Hexagons are considered to be auspicious shapes such as harmony and stability. When several are assembled they fit together neatly.

Cohana's small sewing tools can be stored in the Temari box, which makes a decorative display in your sewing area.
