For Daily Use and Outdoors
Perfect for outings with children, climbing, and camping.
Made of 100% cotton with excellent water absorption, the soft cotton cloth is convenient to carry in your bag. As we consider reusable alternatives to disposable cloths, Tenugui is a new way to use a traditional cloth. For hundreds of years, Japanese people use Tenugui in many ways:
- A small travel towel for swimming or showering
- Serviette in your lunch bag for work
- Wrapping around your neck
- Towelling off sweat.
- Sun protection
- First aid for injuries or broken shoes
- Tying up to become a portable bottle holder
The vibrant, beautiful towels are also great for small gifts for all sexes.
Please Note
- Traditional manufacturing is followed, so the edges are left cut and unsewn. This improves water and dust absorption, makes drying easier, and allows for emergency use. Fraying will reduce with use and form a natural fringe.
- Manual cutting may lead to a slight variation in dimensions.
- Due to the fabric nature, some uneven weaves (neps) may appear.
- Color and pattern may differ slightly from the photo due to dyeing methods.
- As this is main dyeing, discoloration or color transfer may occur with moisture or friction.
- Do not use chlorine-based detergents or bleach to avoid discoloration.
- Avoid using a tumble dryer.
