About the Artist – Mihani Studio / Kaya Kishimoto
Born in Tokyo in 1986, Kaya Kishimoto graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design (Dyeing Course, Department of Crafts). While still a student, she began exhibiting textile works and has been selected for the Kokuten Exhibition annually since 2010. She became a member of the Kokugakai Association in 2015.
