Shipping
Shipping Information for our customers
HOW's partners in Japan will ship goods directly from Japan with the most reliable service.
Shipping options vary from country to country due to the service operating by Japan Post. Since early 2023 there is no e-packet service (economy priced postal packages), which means HOW uses FedEx as our main shipping service.
USA and Canadian Customers
- All products can be sent from Japan with FedEx, Japan Post EMS (Express service), Sea Freight.
- As of April 2025 new tariffs have been introduced by the US government. For Japanese made goods, these are currently 15%. But these rates change. In early 2026 a temporary additional surcharge of 10-15% was imposed. This import fee will be charged by FedEx when goods arrive in the USA. You, as the consignee (receiver of the goods) will be sent an email by Fedex requesting payment of the goods before they will be delivered.
- Shipping from Japan to the US is now charged at a minimum of $65 AUD. Please consider grouping with friends to order, or buying several items to offset the expense.
- HOW has imposed a $100 AUD minimum order to make the order viable.
