Handcrafted in Japan
Bringing style to your sun protection.
Designed to be chosen and styled with the same care as a favourite bag or pair of shoes, the HiraTen Parasol is a celebration of Japanese craftsmanship, colour, and everyday elegance.
Made in Japan by skilled artisans, this parasol features beautifully embroidered cotton fabric , woven domestically and selected for both its tactile softness and refined colour palette. The result is a piece that feels as good in the hand as it looks carried through city streets, gardens, or summer travels.
The Sky Blue + Lemon colourway is fresh, uplifting, and quietly joyful — reminiscent of a sun filled blue sky. It flatters a wide range of skin tones and looks especially striking against blue skies, making it a standout accessory for warm weather.
This parasol is finished with a natural bamboo handle and carefully balanced ribs, reflecting the thoughtful design and attention to detail that define traditional Japanese umbrella making. While functional, it is also unmistakably beautiful — an object made to be enjoyed, used, and admired.
Designed for Sun, Made to Last
The fabric is treated with UV and water-repellent finishes, offering excellent protection from the sun while maintaining the natural feel of cotton. With a UV cut rate of 90% or more, it provides reliable shade without sacrificing breathability or style.
Created with a retro styled bamboo handle to add elegance to the long handled parasol.
