Sydney Walking Tours
We're excited to launch something new for our creative community in July 2025.
Join our Craft Lovers Walking Tour — a curated 3-hour stroll through Sydney’s CBD that uncovers a hidden gem of a museum, an inspiring bookshop, a new Japanese craft exhibition and boutique art and craft stores.
Whether you're visiting Sydney or a local looking for fresh inspiration, this is your chance to meet up with your fellow craft lovers and discover something new in Sydney. The Tour will have a Japanese craft theme, because HOW is all about handmade Japan, but it's of interest to all crafters.
All HOW subscribers receive 30% off the ticketed price ($75 + platform fee)

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we bring kids?
It's a walking tour, and the information is suited to mature adults. We're in a museum with precious objects where kids are not allowed to touch, and shops with new products so I'd recommend you don't bring kids.
How comfortable do you need to be with walking?
Pretty comfortable. I'd recommend wearing walking shoes. It's not long distances, as we're staying in the immediate CBD area.
Would partners, who are non-crafters, but visiting Sydney be interested enough?
Yes, the locations are varied enough to keep the non crafters interested. Visitors to Sydney who are interested in history will find it especially interesting. It's not a workshop where you need to be a crafter to participate.
