Yumefukin is a cloth for stitching sashiko. These designs make a square hand towel. Some of the designs are suited as a hand cloth for a baby's room or bathroom hand towel. The beauty of sashiko is that you can follow create a brilliant symmetrical design by sewing along the pre-printed lines on the piece. After you have finished, wash with water and the print pattern will disappear and you have an original sashiko work.
Traditional sashiko uses dark thread on navy or white, but pairing with pink, red or green thread can add a fresh dimension to the symmetrical design.
The Yumefukin are cloths only, not kits.
