Daruma Trikotri kit - Bird series
Please note: The Daruma Trikotri animal kits require pom pom makers to create the pom poms for the bird body and head. They are not included in the kit. You will need to buy the Daruma Trikotri kit SET - Bird series kit + Pom Pom makers if you would like the pom pom makers included.
These kits are a collaboration between Daruma and the writer Trikotri, the author of "animal pompon" and "inu pompon" (published by Seibundo Shinkosha).* It's a kit of materials to make small animal toys from pom poms made from winding woollen yarn. Using Pom Pom Makers (35mm + 45mm), they are carefully cut and shaped to resemble a small bird.

Born in Shizuoka in 1981. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Painting. He says "I have been familiar with drawing and manufacturing since I was a child". The shape is cut out from "pompom", which is a combination of yarns of various colours, and combined with the needle felt technique to create works with motifs of animals and the surroundings. http://trikotri.com/
